What You Get
Guided Developmental Editing
You receive a full editorial report breaking down and analyzing your manuscript in areas such as theme, plot, pacing, character development, dialogue, etc. You also receive an annotated copy of your manuscript, highlighting areas that need attention with inline comments and giving you suggestions for improvements.
You get the chance for back-and-forth discussion, and one reread of your revised manuscript to ensure that we’ve caught all the issues.
Manuscript Evaluation (a.k.a. Assessment/Critique)
You receive a report assessing the general feel of your story, depicting what works, and giving suggestions on the most pressing issues that may need improvement.
Line Editing
You receive an annotated copy of your manuscript with inline comments, highlighting areas where the language of your story may need improvement for clarity and poignancy.
Other Information
- Only projects of 50k words or higher will be considered.
- When booking a service, a deposit of 30% or 50% of the total will be asked to be paid in order for your spot to be held.
- All manuscripts are accepted in Microsoft Word. Files in Google Docs will have to be converted before sending.
